Shirley Ann, as I often called her, was a kind and considerate classmate of mine. I remember her, tall, strong, brave, but very gentle and easy going. She remained this way all the years I was in school with her. I was so hurt to learn of her health challenges and passing, but I am grateful to God for delivering her from the pain. I pray for your peace and healing during this time. Sandra Harley, Class of 1979, Vice President

I will truly miss u and I know that u are in God's hand. Your face and your loving spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
Dear Family, we are remembering you in our prayers and our thoughts during these days. I am serving as Chaplain for the Mullins High School Varsity football team. Kwinton shared with me the processes of life that y’all have been facing as a family together. You can tell the traits of a good and Godly mother that are handed down to her children. May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ give you strength and comfort from His Holy Spirit in the days to come.
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB
Johnny, We are so sorry for your loss. Praying for God's comfort, strength, and peace to be with your family.
The management and staff of Bartell Funeral Home, LLC thank you for sharing your words of comfort with our families.
