The tears that flow as I write this from Carson City, Nevada and the realization that you’re gone forever is only tempered by the comfort of knowing that you have gone to a better place, for a peaceful rest. You knew me all my life, but everyone of us who were privileged to just meet you were given a beautiful blessing. I am so, so grateful and proud that I’m your nephew. The memory of your unmistakable smile, voice, and loving soul will embrace my heart always. And right now, all I want is your hug. I love you, Aunt Shirley….Tim
My Shirley was the best. I thank God for her and my mother’s (Deloris's ) friendship. My continue prayers to George, Chris, Dwayne, and Shironda. May Christ strengthen and comfort you in the days to come. Before her health failed she never skipped a year sending my mother those birthday wishes . She was instrumental in planning my mother 60th birthday party 6 yrs. ago , Shirley’s high energy and enthused personality Hype and made the party exciting months before the day of the event. I will always love and miss you , your other son ......Terrance McRae
